Let us assure you that all of the information we collect is used solely to help CTE Strong provide more and improved experiences and additional features for you, the user on CTE Strong. These policies also hold CTE Strong, as a company, accountable for protecting users rights as stated in this policy. Before you agree to use our resources, please read on and decide for yourself if CTE Strong’s policies protect your information to a degree you are comfortable with.

  • CTE Strong requires the collection of the following information before users are granted access to the site.
    • The name and address of the organization that use CTE Strong.
    • The name, phone number, email address, and occupation information of CTE Strong users
  • The CTE Strong site automatically collects the following information while users are logged into the site.
    • Location information based off of the IP address of CTE Strong users. Please note that the location information gathered is very nonspecific, and is used only to give CTE Strong a general idea of where certain content is most popular, which in turn influences which new content should be provided by CTE Strong for the CTE Strong site in the future. This data is automatically collected.
    • How users interact with the CTE Strong site, including what content they view, save and share. This information shows CTE Strong what content is most helpful to users, and influences the nature of the content provided through CTE Strong in the future. It also helps CTE Strong recommend content specific to individual users.
    • The technical and sensor information required to operate the CTE Strong site, i.e. the type of browser or device used.
  • CTE Strong will ask for permission first before gathering or using the following information.
    • CTE Strong gives users the option to upload photos. Only the photos specifically uploaded to the CTE Strong site (i.e. logos, profile pictures) will be accessible by CTE Strong and trusted business partners. By uploading these photos, you understand and agree to let CTE Strong use your photos within the Service. We will never distribute these photos (outside of the Service) at any time, unless given explicit permission from the user. You can delete these photos at any time.
    • Please note that a user’s personal information is accessible to the other users who share a membership.
    • We will always clearly state how and when we might share information users provide.

CTE Strong takes its users privacy very seriously. Our hope is that this introduction helps you understand our commitment to protect your information to the best of our ability, while also providing a service that best suits you. 2.0 What users are consenting to

CTE Strong users automatically consent to the following by using or interacting with CTE Strong site.

  • The use of cookies and other technologies
  • The transfer of your information from the country where you live into Canada
  • The collection, use, sharing, and other processing of your information. This includes sharing with trusted business partners, for advertising or billing related purposes.
  • The public availability of your information and the controls over such information as described in Sharing information.

In each case, you consent to the processing of data by the groups described in this Privacy Policy, including CTE Strong, who owns CTE Strong, as data controller, indicated at the bottom of this document (collectively, “CTE Strong”, “we”, “us”, “our”), and trusted business partners as stated where applicable within this policy. Under your profile, account setting, and support page located within the website, we describe the controls and relevant settings associated with your CTE Strong account. If you don't agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, then you may not use the CTE Strong site.

3.0 Information CTE Strong may Collect 

CTE Strong collects and stores the following personal information:

  • Information provided for us by you, the CTE Strong user:
    • Registration Data: your name, gender, email address, address, payment method and telephone number. This information is gathered at registration, through customer service, or through participation in surveys or marketing promotions.
    • You may also choose to voluntarily add other information to your profile, such as your mobile phone number and mobile service provider.
    • We also collect any of the reviews, ratings, taste preferences, account settings, set preferences or certain information otherwise provide to us through CTE Strong or elsewhere.
  • Information provided automatically for us, through CTE Strong:

    When you use or interact with the CTE Strong, we may use a variety of technologies that collect information about how the Service is accessed and used. This information includes your use of our service, your interactions with us and our advertising, as well as information regarding your computer or other devices used to access our service (such as mobile devices). More specifically, this includes:

    • Your activity through CTE Strong, such as; product selections, interactions with audiovisual content, activity history, tag selection, search queries, interactions with other CTE Strong users by means of user content you post to the service (as defined in the Terms and Conditions of Use), as well as messages you send or receive through the service
    • Details regarding your interactions with our customer service, such as the date, time and reason for contacting us, transcripts of any chat conversations, and if you call us, your phone number
    • Your interactions with third Party Applications, advertising and products, and services which are offered, linked to, or made available on CTE Strong or through CTE Strong.
    • Technical data, which may include URL information, your IP address, the types of devices you are using to access or connect to the CTE Strong site, browser type, unique device ID, device attributes, network connection type (e.g., WiFi, 3G, LTE) and provider, network and device performance, statistics on page views, referral URLs, language, information enabling digital rights management, operating system, cookie data, web beacons and other technologies, including ad data (such as information on impressions delivered to a cookie, the site URL where the impression was delivered, as well as the date and time).   • Information provided for us by other sources: CTE Strong may receive information about you from other sources like, service providers and partners, which we use to personalise your CTE Strong experience, to measure ad quality and responses to ads, and to display CTE Strong Promotions that are more likely to be relevant to you. This data, gathered both off and online could include demographic data, interest based data, and internet browsing behaviour. We may use the information from these alternate sources to fill in the information described above.

  • Additional information required for use of CTE Strong services via your mobile device

  • Certain features on the mobile CTE Strong site may require access to services additional to those required on the desktop version of the site. For example, to upload photos to your profile, you will need to grant us access to your photos. Please note, by accepting the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy you grant us full permission and rights to use the photos you upload. With this permission, we will only access the information specific to the message presented to you, the user, at a that specific time. More specifically this refers access to the following information:
    • Photos and Camera: We will only use images that you specifically choose to share with us. (You may use our application to select the photo or photos you choose to share, but we will never import the photos you review except those you explicitly share).
    • Location: We will not gather or use the specific location of your mobile device (by using, for example, GPS or Bluetooth) without first getting your explicit permission. If you choose to share location information but later change your mind, you will always have the ability to stop sharing. Please note that this does not include your IP address. We will continue to use your IP address as described in Section 3 above, to determine, for example, what country you are in and comply with our licensing agreements.
    • Contacts: We will not scan or import your contacts stored on your phone ever.

Widget data

  • Other websites may integrate CTE Strong widgets (such as site links). When you visit a site with a CTE Strong widget embedded, we may receive certain information, including information about the web page you visited. CTE Strong and the widget can recognise you, and the widget may be used to show personalised content or advertising. We know when you interact with a widget, and websites containing the widgets may receive this information.

Payment data

  • If you sign up for a Trial (as defined in the Terms and Conditions of Use), purchase any of our Paid Subscriptions (as defined in the Terms and Conditions of Use), or make other purchases through the CTE Strong site, your credit or debit card information (such as card type and expiration date) and other financial data that we need to process your payment may be collected and stored by us and/or the payment processors with which we work i.e. Please note, the payment processors we work with may collect, use, and share information alternatively to the information described in our privacy policy. Moreover, these company’s privacy policies are completely separate from CTE Strong, and CTE Strong has no authority over the way these companies treat your information. Please read the separate companies privacy policies to ensure your information is being treated securely. We may also collect some limited information, such as your postal code, telephone number, and details of your transaction history, all of which are necessary to provide the Service. In addition, the payment processors generally provide us with some limited information related to you, such as a unique token that enables you to make additional purchases using the information they’ve stored, and your card’s type, expiration date, and certain digits of your card number.
  • If you choose to pay by invoice, CTE Strong may need to collect and store additional information, like your name, date of birth, and phone number, and provide it to payment processors we work with to issue invoices, to enable credit checks and to send you invoices.


Sweepstakes, contests & surveys

  • CTE Strong may offer promotions like contests, surveys, contests, and/or sweepstakes. These promotions may be governed by a privacy policy and/or terms and conditions of use that are separate from the current privacy policy and terms and conditions of use. Please note that any additional provisions described in the alternate and/or additional Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions of Use prevail over the current Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions of Use.
  • If you chose to participate in one of the promotions described above, you may be required to share certain information additional to what is determined under the current Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions of Use, including personal information, to participate. This information may be combined with other account information and may be used and shared as described in this privacy policy.

4.0 Use of Information

CTE Strong may use the information it collects, including your personal information, for processing registration, orders and payments; analyzing, administering, enhancing and personalizing our services and marketing efforts. CTE Strong may use this information to improve your experience with the Service and products, and advertising (including for third party products and services) made available on or outside the Service (including on other sites that you visit). More specifically, CTE Strong may use the information it collects in the following circumstances:

  • Determining the general location of the user to enhance, customize and personalize our service, content, and marketing. Personalized service may include localized content, or customized viewing recommendations for products and activities. We may also determine your Internet service provider and to help us quickly and efficiently respond to your inquiries and requests.
  • Preventing, detecting and investigating potentially prohibited or illegal activities, including fraud, and enforcing our terms (such as determining free trial eligibility)
  • To ensure technical functionality of the services we provide by analyzing and understanding our audience; improving our service (including our user interface experiences, applications, advertising, and products and services that are made available, linked to, or offered through CTE Strong), delivery optimization, content selection, and recommendation algorithms.
  • Communicating with you, either directly or through one of our partners concerning our service (for example by email, push notifications, text messaging or other messages you agree to receive), so that we can send you news about CTE Strong, details about new features and content available on CTE Strong, and special offers, promotional announcements and consumer surveys, either within or outside the Service, and to assist you with operational requests such as password reset requests. All messaging sent by us will be consistent with any permissions you may have communicated to us.
  • To enforce this Privacy Policy, the Terms and Conditions of Use, and any other terms that you have agreed to, including to protect the rights, property, or safety of CTE Strong, its users, or any other person, or the copyright-protected content of the Service
  • As otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy.

5.0 Disclosure of Information 

The information collected or generated through your use of CTE Strong may be disclosed by you or us, and potentially to third parties as is specified in this Privacy Policy, for the certain purposes described below

Information Disclosed by us:
  • Service Providers: From time to time, CTE Strong may share your information with trusted companies, agents or contractors who perform services on our behalf, or assist us with the provision of services for you. These services may include marketing, advertising, communications, financial, infrastructure and IT Services for the purpose of personalizing and optimizing our services, processing credit card transactions or other payment methods, to provide customer service, collect debts, to analyze and enhance data (including data about users' interactions with our service), and to process and administer consumer surveys. In the course of providing such services, these Service Providers may have access to your personal or other information. We do not authorize them to use or disclose your personal information except in connection with providing their services. Where a third party processes user data on our behalf, it is subject to security and confidentiality obligations consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law. Where a third party processes user data on its own behalf, its processing is subject to its own Privacy Policy and applicable law.
  • Marketing and Advertising: We may share information with advertising partners in order to send you promotional communications about CTE Strong or to show you more tailored content, including relevant advertising for products and services that may be of interest to you, and to understand how users interact with advertisements. We may offer joint promotions or programs that, in order for your participation, will require us to share your information with third parties. In fulfilling these types of promotions, we may share your name and other information in connection with fulfilling the incentive. The information we share with third-parties is in a de-identified format (for example, through the use of hashing) that does not personally identify you. Please note that these third parties are responsible for their own privacy practices.   • Protection of CTE Strong: CTE Strong and Service Providers may disclose and otherwise use your personal and other information where we or they reasonably believe such disclosure is needed to (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, (b) enforce applicable terms of use, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address illegal or suspected illegal activities (including payment fraud), security or technical issues, or (d) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of CTE Strong, its users or the public, as required or permitted by law.
  • Business transfers: In connection with any reorganization, restructuring, merger or sale, or other transfer of assets, we will transfer information, including personal information, provided that the receiving party agrees to respect your personal information in a manner that is consistent with our Privacy Statement.
  • While using the CTE Strong service you may have opportunities to post reviews or other information publicly, and third parties could use the information you disclose.
Information Disclosed by you:
  • CTE Strong offers many ways to find, enjoy, and share content. We encourage you to take advantage of these social features on the Service.
  • Your name and/or username, profile picture, and your user profile will always be available to other users under your membership as well as to CTE Strong site administrators, CTE Strong and trusted business partners who are permitted to use your information only as stated in this privacy policy.
  • Your activity on the Service (e.g. content viewed, saved, shared, recently played, posted, upload, and/or contribute to the service) are made available to CTE Strong administrators.
  • Please note, information posted on the CTE Strong site is publicly available, which means that it can be accessed by Third Parties.
  • With your explicit permission, we may notify other users of your location. Likewise, with other CTE Strong member's explicit permission, we may notify you about their whereabouts. We may offer you the ability to share this information to create shared experiences.
  • Learn more about how to manage notifications, your publicly available information, and what you share with others on the CTE Strong support page or by contacting us.
  • Social plugins (including those offered by Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Google) allow you to share information on those platforms. Social plugins and social applications are operated by the social network themselves, and are subject to their terms of use and privacy policies.

    If ever personal information is transferred to countries outside of the European Economic Area and other regions with comprehensive data protection laws, we will ensure that the information is transferred in accordance with this Privacy Statement and as permitted by the applicable laws on data protection.

Other sharing: In addition to the above, CTE Strong may also share your information with third parties for these limited purposes:

  • to allow a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets. Users will be notified if this situation were to ever take place
  • to respond to legal process (e.g., a court order or subpoena), if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to do so; to comply with requirements of mandatory applicable law; to protect the safety of any person; to protect the rights and property of CTE Strong, including to enforce the Terms and Conditions of Use and any other terms that you have agreed to; and to address fraud, security, or technical issues;
  • to academic researchers for purposes including statistical analysis and academic study, but only in a de-identified format;
  • to publish de-identified or aggregate information about the use of CTE Strong
  • to allow CTE Strong and trusted business partners to use your information as specified in this Privacy Policy.

6.0 Access to Your Account and Profiles

The CTE Strong site has implemented technology that allows us to recognize account holders and provide you with direct access to your account without having to retype your user identification. You can chose whether or not to utilize this function on your computer by unchecking the box "Remember me on this device" when you log in to the website. Please note, if you do not maintain the security of your password or device, or fail to log out or deactivate your device, subsequent users may be able to access your account, including your personal information such as your watch history, ratings, reviews and other account information (including your email address or other information).

7.0 Your Choices how to unsubscribe?

To opt out of certain communications from CTE Strong via email, SMS, or other social media, make it known to us that you are no longer interested in receiving the specified communication. You can do this by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of our emails or reply STOP (or as otherwise instructed) to the SMS message. Please note that you cannot unsubscribe from certain email correspondence from us, such as messages relating to your account transactions.

8.0 Your Information

We give you access and the ability to update a broad range of information about your account, including your contact information and your communication preferences in your Account Settings and through the Support page of our website. Please note, you must be signed in to your account to access your account settings.

If you have a question regarding our privacy practices, or want to exercise your rights regarding your personal information, please contact us through our support page.

We provide you with settings to allow you to choose which communications you receive from us, and manage your public information. However, as explained in the section about sharing by you, certain information may always be publicly available to others and other information is made publicly available to others by default, regardless of how you set your privacy settings.

9.0 Transfer to other countries 

CTE Strong transfers, processes and stores information about our users on servers located in Canada and the United States. Accordingly, CTE Strong may share your information with trusted business partners located in countries other than your home country (Canada and the United States). Your personal information may therefore be subject to privacy laws that are different from those in your country of residence. Information collected within the United States may, for example, be transferred to and processed by third parties identified above, located in Canada, where you may have different legal rights in relation to your information. CTE Strong will process your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

10.0 Links

The CTE Strong website may have links to third party websites (E.g. Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn). These websites are governed under their own privacy policies. CTE Strong cannot control or be held responsible for the content they produce or how they handle your personal information.

11.0 Security

CTE Strong strives to safeguard your personal information, to the best of its ability, against loss, theft, unauthorized access, use and modification. Regrettably, no matter the measures we take, to provide our service as it is, we cannot 100% guarantee the security of your information.

Regardless, we will continue to hold your privacy and protection to a high priority. For this reason, we strongly suggest you take seriously the privacy settings CTE Strong has in place, for example, your password. We highly recommend that you create a unique and strong password, and change your password often; this will protect your user account. Further more, be sure to limit access to your computer and browser, and log out of your account after using our services, especially if you are accessing our site from a public computer or network.

12.0 Other Websites, Platforms and Applications

The CTE Strong website may be provided through or contain links to third party websites who are governed under separate Privacy Policies and Terms and Conditions of Use. For example, CTE Strong is accessible through mobile devices, or browsers like Safari and Google Chrome. These platforms and websites have Privacy Policies, notices and Terms and Conditions of Use that differ from CTE Strong’s. Please read the Privacy Statements and Terms and Conditions of Use of the websites and platforms you are accessing in relation to CTE Strong to ensure your information is being protected to a degree you are comfortable with.

13.0 Accessing and updating user information

You can access and change a lot of the information we gather about you, the user, through the account settings page located on the CTE Strong site. If you have questions about the use of your personal information, this privacy policy, or other inquiries related to our service to you, do not hesitate to contact us through our support page.

14.0 Changes to This Privacy Statement

This Privacy Policy is subject to change according to changes in our services, and/or legal, regulatory or operational requirements. If we ever make changes to this document, we’ll provide notice on the website in accordance with the law. Your continued use of our services will constitute your acceptance of the policy changes, so be sure to read each updated policy carefully. CTE Strong and our Service Providers use cookies and other technologies, like web beacons. To ensure you are properly informed, the section below explains in detail the types of technologies we use, what they do, and your choices in regards to their use.

What are cookies and other technologies?
  • A Cookie is a small data file that is ordinarily stored on a devices like, mobile phones,and various types of computers, when you use a website or online service. How Does CTE Strong use Web Beacons and other Technologies?
  • Web beacons (also known as clear gifs or pixel tags) often work in conjunction with cookies. Like Cookies, some of these technologies may store small amounts of data on your device. CTE Strong and our service providers may use them similarly to cookies; to gain a better understanding of the use of our service, improves and enhance our site performance, monitor visitor traffic and action and understand interactions with our marketing.
